Testing beyond the happy path.

Testing a financial intelligence web application involving React, REST APIs, .NET services, SQL Server and MongoDB. Testing covered application workflows, data integrity, API behaviour and regression risks.

Testing Approach

• Designed and executed 190+ test artefacts across BDD, UI, API, database and end-to-end testing.
• Executed 50+ API tests using Postman and Newman across authentication, stablecoins, currency detail, profile and watchlist modules.
• Developed 15 Selenium WebDriver UI automation tests using C#, NUnit and the Page Object Model.
• Validated MongoDB records, activity logs and data consistency across end-to-end workflows.
• Ran JMeter load tests with 50 concurrent users and investigated performance bottlenecks.
• Performed cross-browser testing in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, along with security and accessibility checks.

A planned API testing project using a public practice API to build experience in request validation, response assertions and negative testing.

• Test positive, negative and boundary scenarios.
• Check data creation, updates and deletion workflows.
• Document test cases, execution results and defects.
